Nicola Milne, Emery Gate Shopping Centre Manager this week appointed as a board member of the Chippenham BID (Business Improvement District).
Emery Gate's previous representative Mike Bryant stepped down this week following a period of 12 months as a board member. Mike worked tirelessly and committed many volunteer hours during his time working closely with the BID team.
As with all board members of the BID, they work entirely as unpaid volunteers with the sole motivation of contributing to the future of Chippenham.
Commentating on Nicola's appointment, Antony Bulley, Deputy Chair of the Chippenham BID Board and Managing Director of Strakers said "We are delighted to welcome Nicola to the board and her experience of retail centre management right in the heart of Chippenham coupled with her desire to see the town grow and thrive shares the vision of the Board. Her passion and enthusiasm for the town will be a great asset and I have no doubt will help us to achieve our ambitions for the town.”
