Emery Gate hands over £1,000 to boost Chippenham Birthing Centre

Emery Gate Shopping Centre has handed over a cheque for £1,000 to help Chippenham’s NHS Birthing Centre.

The money was raised from Emery Gate's profits on it’s annual Christmas grotto.

Centre Manager at Emery Gate, Nicola Milne met with Midwifery Sister, Pam Walsh to hand over the cheque today at the Birthing Centre.

Commenting at the handover, Nicola said: “Every year, we try to raise money for a local cause through our grotto, and Chippenham Birthing Centre was an obvious choice given how integral they are to the local community".

Pam Walsh, Midwifery Sister at Chippenham Birthing Centre, added:
“We are both thrilled and grateful to be the recipient of the funds raised through Emery Gate’s Christmas grotto. We are proud that the Chippenham community continues to support us in such ways”.
