Getting Summer ready at Emery Gate

First, you ALWAYS have to stop and get a drink to shop with! We headed to Costa Coffee for a Dragon Fruit & Guava Refresher!
Once our drink was secured, it’s time to get our shopping on…
First stop is Peacocks! And let’s just say, their summer collection is UNREAL!
From their dresses to their swimsuits, we couldn’t be more obsessed! We picked up a White Abstract Print Keyhole Midi Dress, a Black & Pink Tropical Floral Print Sarong, a Natural Straw Double Handle Tote Bag (perfect for the beach!), and a pair of Brown Comfort Cross Over Sandals!
Don’t forget, there are so many great summer pieces in the Men's and Kids sections too!
After successfully securing so many new pieces from Peacocks, we’re heading to Poundland to look for all things summer! Think summer BBQ’s, pool days, and holiday ready!
We picked up a pack of Squashies Drumstick Squeezee Freezable pops to enjoy in the sunshine, an Ultra Light Cabin Luggage Backpack for holiday, packing cubes, and a Summer Party Drink Dispenser with Tumblers - perfect for a summer garden party!
Next up, we’re heading to The Bay Tree for some NEW summer Jellycat releases.
We can’t get over the number of cute faces we were greeted with, and let's just say… we came home with more than one.
Which one catches your eye? Gobfrey Whale Shark, Amuseables Aruba Coconut, Ricky Rain Frog Rubber Ring, Amuseables Sports Surfboard, or one of the many others? Check them all out at The Bay Tree.
After that, we’re feeling a little hungry, so of course we had to go to Boswells Cafe! We grabbed a Jacket Potato with cheese and baked beans, and a refreshing Raspberry and Blueberry smoothie! Now that we are refuelled, it’s time to head to Pavers for the perfect pair of summer shoes!

We’re heading to The Fragrance Shop next for the perfect summer scent!
After much deliberation and many scents later, we decided to go with the Limited Edition Marc Jacobs, Daisy Glow! This scent has top notes of White Strawberry, Sweet Orange Essential Oil, heart notes of Marigold, Jasmin and Violet, and base notes of White woods, Musk, and Vanilla.
If this doesn’t scream summer, we don’t know what does!
Last but not least, to finish off this great day of shopping, we’re heading to Holland and Barrett to pick up one of our favourite sustainable products!
The Faith in Nature Shampoo Bar is nourishing, Vegan society approved, and made with essential oils. It also comes in three scrumptious scents: Coconut & Shea Butter, Dragon Fruit, and Lavender & Geranium - perfect for summer!
