Padel is Coming to Chippenham

Something new is taking shape at Emery Gate Shopping Centre!.  We are really excited to announce that the former Tesco unit is the new home of Padel Chippenham. Set to open in September, we can’t wait to welcome the UK’s fastest-growing sport to Chippenham.

What to expect

Visitors will find four top-tier padel courts, a MultiBall interactive entertainment wall with more than 45 games, changing facilities on site, refreshments to enjoy before or after a game and equipment available to hire and purchase.

A thoughtful reinvention of a familiar space, the arrival of Padel Chippenham keeps Emery Gate active, vibrant and relevant for the community it serves.

The opening forms part of Emery Gate's continued commitment to keeping the shopping centre active and welcoming while longer-term redevelopment plans progress.

As with any project of this nature, there are a number of stages to work through before construction can begin. In the meantime, the focus remains on ensuring Emery Gate continues to play a positive role in the town centre by attracting visitors, supporting footfall and offering new reasons for people to enjoy Chippenham.
